The Senior Business Analyst - Marketing Technologies is the primary contact and subject matter expert in the marketing technologies solutions and processes.  This thought leader will guide the business on how to leverage these technologies to increase customer adoption and sustain customer enrollment of products and services offered by the company. The BA engages in all aspects of the systems development lifecycle with Digital development teams and business units for the implementation of new systems and enhancements to existing systems. The BA evaluates Digital capabilities and evolving business requirements in collaboration with solution architects and development teams, recommends appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems and processes.  In addition, the BA prepares communications and facilitates presentations on marketing technologies system and processes. In the end, this BA plays a key role in the support and delivery of systems and processes designed to foster customer adoption and sustain enrollment of products and services that will increase customer satisfaction and grow revenue for Ameren.

Key responsibilities include:
•    Works with internal or external stakeholders to identify and clarify complex business needs and collaborates with technical resources to translate these needs into technical requirements
•    Facilitates meetings with business stakeholders and Digital to understand business requirements; demonstrates deep understanding of business needs and recommends design changes accordingly
•    Supports quality assurance activities, directs and owns process/system changes and reviews process changes to ensure design changes meet the business requirements
•    Recognizes patterns in complex data and analytics processes to determine problems, risks and opportunities for improvement
•    Analyzes complex source system data in support of improving data quality and translates raw data into information for consumable insights and reports
•    Supports business co-workers in the execution of marketing campaigns
•    Supports requests to ensure compliance with brand standards, best practices, and error free communication to customers
•    Identifies opportunities to redesign business processes that will optimize workflow and achieve even better business results
•    Maintains a strong knowledge of the current practices, processes and principles associated to marketing technologies and demonstrates a desire to keep knowledge up to date
•    Supports data engineering work in the identification and integration of data from multiple sources including Salesforce CRM, Sprinklr, Sitecore and other data sources and make recommendations to improve data quality and integration.
•    Helps manage the marketing technologies platform and assists in the selection of additional tools and design of enhancements as necessary.

In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:
•    Strong ability to communicate systems and procedural changes to end users through excellent written and oral communications
•    Advanced understanding of Agile principles, practices and the Scrum and SAFe frameworks
•    Strong knowledge of modern techniques, methods, procedures, principles, and practices in support of marketing technologies
•    Strong knowledge of business process modeling and redesign concepts
•    Strong ability to facilitate meetings and develop professional presentations
•    Expertise and ability to dissect various, complex and dynamic information, interpret and recommend alternative courses of action, and implement intervention strategies to attain performance targets and achieve business benefits

•    Bachelor's degree required preferably in business, marketing, or computer science from an accredited college or university required.  Consideration may be given to candidates with extensive related experience (ten or more years) without the preferred academic requirements. 
•    Five or more years of experience working in IT/Digital and/or Marketing with related systems/projects as a business analyst required. 
•    Three or more years of relevant experience leading the design and implementation of marketing technologies applications/products required including marketing automation and campaign management.  Experience working with Salesforce, Sitecore, and SAS Campaign Manager preferred. 
•    Knowledge of electric and gas utility industry also preferred.
