Job Summary/Purpose: 
C-Edge is looking for a Jr. Information Assurance Documentation Specialists to join our organization and support USTRANSCOM at the client site at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. 
 
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Review and audit implementation and configuration of RMF monitors and controls
  • Prepare and maintain RMF Comprehensive Packages and system ATO artifacts
  • Coordinate with system owners to prepare and execute system ATO tasks
  • Maintain and update system security status in eMASS
  • Develop strategy to obtain ATO based on full RMF packages (senior-level only)
  • Assist system administration team to maintain RMF continuous monitoring and associated documentation and reports
  • Track and manage resolution of POA&Ms
  • Revise and maintain security-related procedures for conducting assessments, scanning, auditing, etc.
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
  • An Associate's Degree in a computer-science related field is required for this position 
    • An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute 
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with each of the following technology skills: 
    • Experience using DoD security management tools including eMASS
    • Working understanding of STIGs
    • Experience with NIST RMF monitoring and controls
    • Experience with preparing system ATO artifacts
    • Experience developing and reviewing system security plans
    • Vulnerability and risk analysis experience
    • Remedy ticketing system
  • A minimum of an active Secret Clearance is required for this role. 
  • A current DoD 8570 IAT-II Certification (e.g. Security+ CE, CCNA Security, etc.) is required.
