Position Overview:

Cedge is actively pursuing a new contract opportunity and is seeking a qualified CADD Technical Support Lead / Technician, contingent upon contract award. This role will lead and support advanced CADD operations for the Department of Public Works (DPW), focusing on drafting, data integration, and customization using the Bentley Suite (e.g., MicroStation, OpenBuildings). The ideal candidate will ensure data integrity, technical accuracy, and provide quality control across infrastructure and facility support systems.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead CADD drafting, customization, and integration tasks using Bentley software
• Coordinate with DPW departments to collect, validate, and process infrastructure and facilities data
• Support database-enabled design environments, including Bentley ProjectWise and GIS-linked systems
• Perform GPS-based data collection and integrate spatial data into digital design assets
• Maintain file management, version control, and documentation of all drawing deliverables
• Conduct quality assurance reviews and enforce adherence to federal, DoD, or DPW standards
• Act as a technical advisor for all CADD-related functions and process improvements

 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred; equivalent experience considered)
• 5+ years of experience working with Bentley Suite applications (e.g., MicroStation, OpenBuildings)
• Experience with GPS-based data collection and geospatial data integration
• Strong command of database-enabled design systems
• Demonstrated ability to develop technically accurate and compliant drawings
• Excellent coordination and communication skills across engineering and facilities teams

 

Security and Training Requirements:

• Must be eligible for a Secret security clearance
• Completion of DoD IA/IT training and successful background investigation required upon contract award
