SUMMARY: Work collaboratively with software engineering to deploy and operate systems. Help automate and streamline operations and processes. Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in dev, test and production environments.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
·         Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration
·         Experience with automation/configuration management
·         Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies
·         A working understanding of code and script (Python, Bash)
·         Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service.
·         Compile, installed and troubleshot various software packages for integration into mission critical Web Portals.
·         Build, deploy, and managed virtual network environments using VMWare vSphere.
·         Install, update and manage heterogeneous operating systems, including Redhat Linux and
           Microsoft Windows Server 2008/12 within the VMWare environment.
·         Managed various sophisticated web portlets in Tomcat environment.
·         Aid developers in troubleshooting java web portlets integrating into testing environment.
·         Responsible for designing and integrating next-generation Continuous Integration (CI) environment
          into current infrastructure.
·          Train new integrators in the policies and procedures for the test environment, and various operational and
           technical elements of the job.

QUALIFICATIONS:
 
·         Secret security clearance.
·         Security+ CE
·         ITIL Foundations v3
·         Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in related field or equivalent, two to four years related
          experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
·         Excellent written and oral communication skills.
·         Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
·         Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
·         Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing
           Priorities.
·         Acute attention to detail.
·         Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
·         Creative, flexible, and innovative team player.
·         Ability to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance.
·         Working knowledge and understanding of the basic principles, theories,
          concepts, and practices in the applicable area of engineering/technical
          specialization.
·         Proven ability to write clear technical documentation.
