CEdge has an immediate back-fill opportunity for a DevSecOps Engineer to support a Department of Defense agency. This role is located in Washington, D.C., and offers a very competitive salary, due to the unique skill set requirements.   • Perform system design and administration of cyber security compliant infrastructure that includes network, operating system, application development frameworks and emerging technologies (mobile, cloud, containers, micro-services etc.)
  • Perform planning of hardware maintenance and upgrades that includes planning changes to network hardware, operating systems, and attached devices; evaluation of system utilization, response time; identification and correction of operational problems; troubleshooting complex systems, working with analytic tools.
  • Create and execute Cyber Security test plans ability to advise top management on new developments and advanced techniques.
  • Plan/organize/direct studies to develop long-range forecasts and recommendations.
  • Create program documentation that detail system architecture, document system configuration, creating and execute implementation plans.
  • Read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and regulatory requirements; write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Must have PROVEN EXPERIENCE and a PASSION to create and implement Container Security Strategies.
  • Red Hat Linux, PowerShell, and/or Hyper-V
  • DISA Security Requirements Guides (SRG)
  • DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
  • Experience with Splunk, BMC, Service Now
  • Experience with Cloud migrations
  • CEH certification
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems or related field (Cyber security concentration is desirable).
  • Jenkins CI/CD, Git, vulnerability scanning tools such as Fortify, Veracode etc.
  • Knowledge of containers and container orchestration such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Security+ or CISSP and/or CISM certification
