Sr. IT Performance Analyst
Senior IT Performance Analyst in the eCommerce team, you will provide technical and analytical expertise to resolve critical and complex application performance issues and identify and drive optimization changes to improve customer experience. Essential job functions will include, but not be limited to:
·         Partner with application development, application support, and other IT infrastructure resources to define measurement frameworks, develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards, and deliver self-service visualization and reporting.
·         Accountable for the management and resolution of performance issues. This includes the complete analysis of perceived performance problems carried through to the quantifiable identification of the root-cause.
·         Work with development and testing teams to optimize response time and throughput in performance testing environments.
·         Collaborate with performance testing teams to developing accurate test plans that model real user behavior and system load. Assist with test analysis to optimize response time and throughput and establish performance baselines.
·         Actively communicate with management regarding current issues and long term approaches and plans.
·         Administer Application Performance Management (APM) and Session Replay tools.
·         Develop internal APM training materials and perform training for application and infrastructure teams that promotes a performance-based culture focused on customer experience.
 
Who You Are:
 
Education:
·         Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
 
Experience:
·         5+ years' experience in APM tools (AppDynamics, New Relic, Dynatrace preferred).
·         Experience in Java-based web applications with knowledge of common programming concepts, practices and structures.
·         Familiarity with networking, security, web services and micro services/container architecture.
·         Experience with web analytics (Google 360/Adobe) and big data platforms and visualization tools (similar to BigQuery/DataStudio and Elasticsearch/Kibana).

·         Must be able to organize and manage small teams of technical resources for analysis and resolution of performance issues.
·         Self-motivated with the ability to be productive in a fast-paced environment.

·         Strong interpersonal skills with the desire to share knowledge and skills.
·         Must be available to travel internationally up to 10%. Must have a valid passport or the ability to obtain a valid passport.
